PRLog (Press Release) – Jun. 3, 2013 – KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kingsville Missouri school district was the beneficiary of a large donation of specialty lumber from a local saw mill. Schutt Log Homes and Mill Works donated a variety of lumber to the school in hopes of encouraging kids to explore careers in the carpentry or wood working fields. Patrick Schutt, Owner of Schutt Log Homes and Mill Works, states ” I feel it’s important to give kids the opportunity to explore a variety of vocations. My experiences in school created a lifelong love of wood working and a deep appreciation for forestry and lumber processing. I hope to spark an interest in these kids, who knows where it could lead.”

Schutt Log Homes and Mill Works is a small family owned company which specializes in solid Oak log home kits, custom milled specialty lumber, and recently added to the line up,  traditional hardwood barns and timber framed greenhouse kits.
